Although similar factors set off animal allergic reactions, pets don’t respond the same way as humans. Allergens cause discomfort differently in pets. For animals, their skin is the primary indication of an allergy rather than the respiratory system, which is the most susceptible system in humans. This means your dog, cat or rabbit will likely not sneeze or cough to indicate that their system is irritated.
